Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving celebrated on the Tuesday following the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Because real happiness is not created by the stuff you own, but the impact you have on the lives of others.

The disabled children in Bangladesh and their families do not have the possibility to shop unlimited, but they also have wishes. Their wish list does not include computer games, sweets or smartphones, but textbooks, healthy meals and tools for learning. Learning at school, but also to learn to sit, stand and walk.

The four-year-old Ria and Ariyan both live in Bangladesh and both have multiple disabilities. They enjoy going to Niketan's special education. Like their classmates, Ria and Ariyan need special tools and textbooks to participate in this education.

With your 'Giving Tuesday' donation you give Ria, Ariyan and their classmates an extra push to develop further. In the wish list below you choose the gift that will surprise the children: teaching materials or aids such as wheelchairs, standing tables, walkers and special chairs. It is also possible to donate healthy meals. These are an important part of the (lesson) day, since healthy food is not self-evident for many children at home.

Together we can let children shine. We can help them to make an important positive step forward. A step that not only changed their lives forever, but which also gives more meaning to our lives.
