News Goodbye and welcome
In January we said goodbye to our dear care mother Selena. After 13 years of lovingly caring for the young people at Afroza Place care farm 24/7, she decided to embark on a new adventure in Saudi Arabia.
Selena was always lovingly there for her big special family. She knew how to keep the peace in the house and managed to make time for a game in addition to all the housework. Her departure is a great loss. In March, her husband Yasin also said goodbye to our care farm. As a farmer, he worked very hard day in day out and took great pleasure in training the boys in farm work.
Fortunately, after an extensive application process, we found a new couple who will come and work at the care farm. The boys played an important role in the conversations because, after all, they are the ones who live with them every day. They each interacted with the various candidates in their own way and unanimously chose Lipy and Ali, a couple with two young disabled children. We wish the family a wonderful stay at our care farm.
