News Annual report 2023

It is with great pleasure that we hereby share with you the link to our annual report.

2023 was the year of the Niketan Foundation’s 25th anniversary. It was a year of looking back at what we have achieved. In this report, we would like to share that with you. Our children with disabilities, their parents and staff share their experiences and moving stories about Niketan’s impact and commitment.

2023 also saw great strides in the development of the Shokkhom knowledge platform. The platform makes 25 years of experience and collaboration with our partners accessible to our children and their immediate environment.

We conducted a small survey on the happiness and self-confidence of our children. We completed the pilot of the ‘Stories for Inclusion’ project, with great results. Children with disabilities in elementary schools indicated that they feel that they are included more and are bullied less.

In short, plenty to read. We would like to thank you very much for your contribution to our programs for children with disabilities. We look forward to working with you in the coming years towards an even more inclusive society for our children.
